Mountain Rustic Home

Mountain Village, Telluride, Colorado

15 Stonegate Drive – Without a doubt, there is an English overtone to this architectural design.  It is located in Mountain Village, Telluride, Colorado.  Until now you have not experienced this type of mixture of materials that combine so well.  These multiple finishes and terracing to the entry, gives this home a welcoming impression.  To be sure, the Telluride Gold Stone gives the home stability and respect as you approach the sub development. Equally important is the copper top tower.  Most of all, the rusted corrugated metal roof contributes to the mountain rustic style.  Furthermore post and beams adds to the Mountain Village style.

To clarify, the trusses in the living room have depth.  This is created by letting the purline run continuously over the trusses with the ceiling above.  Moreover the views are fantastic and the space is proportionately perfect.  Yet the master bedroom and master bath behind the deck at the top of the tower encompasses the entire 3rd floor.  In other words, making them totally private.  Along with the privacy, the views are incredible.  Additionally is a stone fireplace providing warmth and relaxation.

What’s more the building site orientation and open floor plan on the main level provides breath taking views.  Ultimately these views encompass local aspens, pines, mountain flowers, wild life and the grand San Sofia Mountain Range.  Actually an important aspect of the design process was easy access to the ski-in, ski-out.  This house borders the Sundance Ski Run, Telluride Ski & Golf.  Finally a Jacuzzi in the secluded and landscaped back yard is a must after a long day of outdoor activities.
